This Flavettes product is a SUGAR FREE formulation using sorbitol as the sweetening agent. Sorbitol is naturally found in many fruits and vegetables. Unlike sugar, sorbitol provides the benefits of lower calories and is tooth friendly.

Action:Ascorbic Asid is necessary for collagen formation and tissue repair in the body and may be involved in some oxidation reduction reactions.

Adverse Reaction/Side Effect:Occasionally, prolonged high dosage may cause urate, cystine precipitation in the urinary tract. For Flavettes recommended dosage, no side effect are known.

Precaution and Warning:Ascorbic Acid is usually well tolerated. Large doses may cause diarrhoea.
